Hello, and welcome to my page. I'm Tapley, a somewhat experiMental (emphasis on the Mental xp) home cook with some professional experience.

I don't claim to be an expert by any means, but I do know a thing or two about good food. I live outside Boston with the love of my life Vesna and our goofy dog Hugo, I try to cook at least once a day, and I'm always looking for new inspiration in flavors.

I've started this blog, after many months of torturing my Facebook friends with pictures of my concoctions, in the hopes that they and others will find they're own kitchens to be more accessible and exciting more often.

mostly what you will find here are foods I've cooked for myself and my very sexy boyfriend, there by meals for two (always extra rice for Hugo) with a bit left over.

Unfortunately I have a bad habit of inventing dishes without writing down the ingredients, so for the first few posts you'll just see the fruits of my labor but I will try to get better and post recipes for all that I make, and of course you can email me and I'll jot down anything you might like to try.
